Boscov’s Ala Carte is a catering company that strives to provide you with the ultimate in personal service. Our menu is provided to give you a taste of our culinary style and some of the choices available to you in arranging your event. However, in the Ala Carte style, nothing is set in stone, and we encourage you share any ideas you might have that are not included in our menu.
Through personal consultation with every client, we are able to create menus to meet any discriminating taste, personal style or price specification one might have. In addition, as a full service catering company, we will work with you to develop a total event plan, including layout, color scheme, table linens, silver, china, glassware, floral arrangements and other décor. We also employ a well-trained staff of servers and bartenders. Boscov’s Ala Carte is a service that provides the finest quality foods, carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
Boscov’s Ala Carte is under the supervision of Stephen J. Bonner. Alumni of Cornell University , and in the past held Sous Chef and Chef positions at The Black Banana in Philadelphia and The Philadelphia Plaza Hotel, respectively. Stephen’s culinary and event-planning expertise holds Boscov’s Ala Carte Catering Company at the highest standards.
Stephen and his trained professionals are available seven days a week, to provide you with the perfect event, start to finish.

Mark Eastman
Chef Mark is the owner and operator of Chefs’ Haven, a gourmet store and learning center for novice and experienced chefs in Hockessin, De. His experience includes 25 years in the food industry. Mark attributes most of his talent to his mother and his quality education at New England Culinary Institute Montpelier, VT. Eastman, 50, has worked at various area restaurants such as the four-star Brasserie Perrier in Philadelphia, Pa. and the Dilworthtown Inn in West Chester, Pa. He specializes in preparing fish, meat, sauces and soups. Sharing his knowledge is his passion.
At Chefs’ Haven, which opened in December 2008, Eastman provides high quality pantry and kitchen equipment and gadgets, knife sharpening service, the highest quality chocolates available, gourmet desserts and confections, and basic cooking ingredients such as irreplaceable demi glace and hard to find spices. In addition, Eastman has brought together some of the region’s best artisans selling primitive style hutches and tables, restaurant quality butcher blocks, beautiful functional pottery and original kitchen artwork.
Mark’s main service at Chefs’ Haven’s is to teach passionate home cooks the proper way to prepare food, and provide the necessary tools and ingredients to accomplish a most impressive end result!

Aurora Gonzalez
Hailing from a long line of food lovers, Aurora believes cooking is in her soul. The Italian in her believes that food can bring people together no matter what their differences and that a bowl of Nana's Italian Wedding Soup can heal all that ails you. The Costa Rican side of her family taught her about the beauty of food in its natural state and how to use food to truly nourish and inspire the mind and body. A passionate home cook and self-proclaimed "international foodie", Aurora enjoys trying food from
the many nations and cultures around the globe. Believing food and culture go hand-in-hand, Aurora exposes her own family to the many cultures of the world through the foods she prepares in her own home. Her 2 year old son's passion for Pad Thai is as testament to this! Despite her love for food and cooking, Aurora's propensity toward organizing EVERYTHING has lead her to a career in special events planning. It's no surprise, however, that with a history focused on food and family, Aurora is now working as the Events Planner for her family's business, Celebrity Kitchens.
Celebrity Kitchens is a recreational cooking school in Independence Mall on Route 202 in Wilmington. Celebrity Kitchens opened its doors in March, 2002 with the hope of feeding and entertaining old and new friends alike. A dinner at Celebrity Kitchens is not just a meal; it's a dining experience! We bring the regions most celebrated chefs out of their kitchens and into ours. They prepare a full four-course dinner while teaching you all their secrets to making the dishes you love. It's fun, interactive and social. You will enjoy fabulous food, great complimentary wine and go home with the recipes to repeat the magic. It is dinner and a show combined into one event!
